About Joel Duval
I’m Joel Duval, an Arizona State University student pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, with an expected graduation in 2028. I’m the founder of Made Duval, where I build clean, modern websites for small businesses that want to look professional and trustworthy online.
I’ve always been drawn to both creative and technical work. I enjoy programming because it lets me solve real problems and build useful things from scratch, but I’ve also always enjoyed painting and design because they give me a way to create something visually meaningful. That mix of logic and creativity is a big part of how I approach web design.
Outside of school and web development, I’m a licensed private pilot, Eagle Scout, and Mensa member. I also love cars and enjoy working on them.
My goal with every project is simple: build websites that look sharp, work well, and help business owners feel confident about how they present themselves online.

I have always enjoyed creating things, whether that means painting, programming, working on cars, or building websites. To me, a good website is not just text and images on a page. It should feel professional, easy to use, and built with a real purpose behind it.
My background in computer science, aviation, scouting, and hands-on mechanical work has shaped the way I think. I value discipline, precision, creativity, and honest communication. Those same values are what I bring into every project through Made Duval.
I am also proud to be a U.S.-based business. I believe customers should know who they are working with, be able to have real conversations, and feel confident that their website is being built by someone they can actually trust. My goal is to give each client a personal experience instead of making them feel like just another order in a system.
